Linking WorldPerks and SkyMiles Accounts

As an incentive to get us to link our rewards accounts, Delta is offering 500 bonus miles to SkyMiles members who link their accounts with Northwest WorldPerks accounts before March 15, 2009. Once your accounts are linked, you can transfer miles back and forth between your WorldPerks and SkyMiles accounts without fees or transfer restrictions. The accounts will merged later this year, anyway, so you should take advantage of this offer, and a few perks: Currently, NWA does not charge a partner award ticket fee (Delta does), so you may be able to save money on awards travel by transferring SkyMiles to WorldPerks while you can. Additionally, the airlines may have different award availability for the same flight, so merging your accounts can open up new rewards travel options. Link your accounts at Delta.com.
